The Bacon Bits Turn 6 Years Old

On December 28, Maggie and Lizzie turned 6 years old.   How is that possible?  Time sure flies...especially when you're having fun!  These girls are the happiest, most fun-loving and full of life kids I know!

Their birthday fell on Friday.  They chose to go to Chik Fil A for Lunch.   Then, we went to Build A  Bear, and they got to build and dress a stuffed animal for their birthday.  That night we went to Sakura for a family dinner.

On Saturday, December 29, we celebrated the girls' birthday with their friends at an indoor pool facility here in town.  Here was their party invitation...ADORABLE...

Maggie's Words Worth Remembering

(Lizzie was crying because Mom had gotten
on to her and hurt her feelings.  Maggie
took over and tried to "make it all better".
Here is what Maggie had to say to me about the situation).

"I am trying to handle this.  I can hold her and rock her,
you know.   That will help, and I am big
enough to do that.   I am taller than Lizzie.
I am really.  I should be the big sister and
she should be the little sister.  Really I should."

  1. They are precious! You need to save all these "words" and make a book to present to them at their weddings or when they have a child. :-)
